Best brunch in Wake Forest: nine breakfast spots in and near town
Brunch in Wake Forest mostly means a daytime breakfast cafe. Most kitchens close by 2 or 3 p.m., and few run a separate cocktail brunch, so plan on eggs and coffee before noon more than a long afternoon at the bar. Downtown, White Story Cafe has drawn lines on South White Street since it opened in 2025. Out on Capital Boulevard, Brigs at the Forest and Flying Biscuit Cafe handle the big plates, and Rogers Road and Heritage Lake Road hold smaller independents.
Only a handful of places inside town held up to checking, so the list widens to Rolesville, Youngsville and Falls of Neuse Road in north Raleigh. Use it as a map of where breakfast happens near home, and read the call-ahead notes before a Sunday drive, since weekend hours are where the listings disagree most.
How we chose
We started inside Wake Forest town limits and kept only places open as of October 2026 with a dated signal, such as a 2026 menu, guide listing or review. Facts come from each business's own site where possible, and awards count only when named and dated. Four entries sit outside town because Wake Forest alone could not fill the list: Bites on Main and Rolesville Diner in Rolesville, Charron's Deli & Cafe in Youngsville, and Sunday's AM Eatery in north Raleigh.
We allowed two chains, Brigs and Flying Biscuit, and cut First Watch, Jeff's Bagel Run, places marked closed and spots with no breakfast menu. Entries are listed alphabetically, not ranked. Hours and prices were last checked in October 2026; call for anything an entry marks unconfirmed.
Bites on Main
In Rolesville, on Southtown Circle off Main Street, Bites on Main took over the former Sip Noshery space and cooks breakfast and brunch to order every day of the week. House-made pancakes come in rotating flavors and toppings, French toast arrives traditional or stuffed, and the Chicken Bacon Stack puts candied bacon on ciabatta. Fresh juices, orangeade and lemonades fill out the drinks side of the menu.
Why we chose them
- Its homepage says breakfast runs until 11:30 a.m., though the bacon, egg and cheese is served all day.
- The restaurant's own site bills its 8-inch ciabatta sandwiches as the best in town.
- A June 2026 Wake Forest Matters guide to Rolesville dining calls it a newer local favorite.
- Prices are not posted as text online, since the menu page is a single image.
Address: Rolesville — 400 Southtown Circle

Brigs at the Forest
Off Capital Boulevard on Wake Union Church Road, beside the Hampton Inn, Brigs at the Forest is the Wake Forest store of Triangle-based Brigs Restaurants, a local group with four locations. Breakfast is served daily, and the full menu runs all day. Pancake batter is mixed in house each day and comes in stacks of one, two or three, with blueberry, strawberry, pecan or chocolate chip. Royal Skillets pile homefries, meats and vegetables under cheese with two basted eggs.
Why we chose them
- Its Wake Forest page says it is "Repeatedly Voted Best Breakfast in Wake Forest," citing Wake Weekly awards from 2018 and 2025.
- Per the Wake Forest Chamber listing, weekday breakfast specials cost $6.49 from 7 to 11 a.m., Monday to Friday.
- The Chesapeake Benedict uses homemade crab cakes, and a Benedict of the Month rotates beside an Omelet of the Week.

Charron's Deli & Cafe
Downtown Youngsville, on East Main Street, Charron's Deli & Cafe is a family-owned New York-style deli in a historic building. Breakfast is served Monday through Saturday, which makes it a weekday or Saturday breakfast stop rather than a Sunday brunch. The deli's site says it serves breakfast but does not list any breakfast dishes or prices, so ask at the counter what the kitchen is making that morning.
Why we chose them
- The deli's own site says the family has owned and run it since 2009.
- It is closed Sunday, and its site lists breakfast from 7 a.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. Saturday.
- Holiday bingo nights show up on its site as a recurring part of the calendar.
- The site posted Labor Day 2026 hours, a recent sign the deli is still running.
Address: Youngsville — 120 E. Main St.

Courtney's New York Bagels & Deli
Up on Heritage Lake Road in the Heritage area, Courtney's New York Bagels & Deli is a New York-style bagel and deli counter. Mornings center on bagel breakfast sandwiches, such as bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, plus omelets. The case holds crumb cake and black-and-white cookies, and corned beef on rye covers lunch. Think of it as a quick breakfast before errands more than a long sit-down brunch.
Why we chose them
- No dated 2026 post or review from the shop turned up; the latest dated review is December 31, 2025, so call before driving over.
- Restaurantji lists a 6 a.m. weekday opening, the earliest in Heritage, though TripAdvisor shows different hours.
- Restaurantji also lists it as closed Monday, and because listings disagree, confirm by phone first.
- There is no website and no confirmed price list, so expect to read the menu in person.

Flying Biscuit Cafe
Flying Biscuit Cafe is an Atlanta-founded franchise chain, 32 years old, with five Triangle stores. The Wake Forest one opened in late 2025 in Wake Forest Crossing on Capital Boulevard, in the old East Coast Wings space. Breakfast is served all day, every day the doors are open. The menu leans Southern, with biscuits, chicken and waffles, and shrimp over creamy grits, and a full bar pours mimosas and Bloody Marys.
Why we chose them
- Online ordering lists the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit at $6.99 and the High Flyer at $15.99.
- Shrimp & Creamy Dreamy Grits costs $17.99 on the store's online ordering page.
- WRAL reported the Wake Forest plans in June 2025 and expected a November opening; the exact date was never confirmed.

Stewart's Bistro
A family-run coffee bistro on Rogers Road, Stewart's Bistro serves breakfast all day on the days it is open. Visit Raleigh notes it pours coffee from Carrboro Coffee Roasters, and the espresso drinks go well with hotcakes, biscuits or chicken and waffles. Lunch brings paninis with homemade fries. Weekdays are the safe bet here; weekend service is the open question, so treat it as a weekday breakfast stop first.
Why we chose them
- Sunday hours conflict: TripAdvisor and Restaurantji list Sunday mornings, while a June 2026 local guide says weekdays only.
- TripAdvisor and Restaurantji both list it as closed on Saturday.
- Gluten-free options are noted on its TripAdvisor listing.
- A TripAdvisor review from 2019 shows it has been on Rogers Road since at least then.
Address: Wake Forest — 3652 Rogers Rd.

Sunday's AM Eatery
Technically in north Raleigh, Sunday's AM Eatery sits on Falls of Neuse Road near the Wake Forest line, and its own site lists a Wake Forest ZIP in one spot and a Raleigh ZIP in another. Breakfast runs every day. The kitchen turns out a three-pancake stack with peaches and berries, a Fish and Grits Bowl, a Chicken Fried Biscuits Bowl and sriracha honey bacon, and the drinks list carries an espresso martini.
Why we chose them
- Mimosas cost $5 on Mondays and mimosa flights are $10 on Thursdays, per its events calendar.
- Bloody Marys are half price on Wednesdays, according to the restaurant's own calendar.
- Breakfast tacos, two with crispy hash browns, are a Tuesday-only special.
- Because the ZIP code on its site varies, map it by the Falls of Neuse Road suite address.

Breakfast is served for every hour the cafe is open.
