Anstead’s Cigar Barn

Anstead’s Cigar Barn is a cigar and tobacco retailer at 3605 Rogers Branch Road, Suite 106, on the south side of Wake Forest just off Capital Boulevard. It is the fourth store for Anstead’s Tobacco, a family business that has operated out of Fayetteville since 1975 and still runs its flagship there as the Big Red Barn.

The Wake Forest store follows the company’s Cigar Barn format: a walk-in humidor and a curated selection over the counter rather than the full event-and-lounge operation the Fayetteville store runs. The difference here is the outdoor patio lounge, which makes it somewhere to sit with what you bought rather than a stop on the way home. Bring identification; North Carolina sets the minimum age at 21.
