Paris Baguette is coming to Six Forks Station in north Raleigh

News October 7, 2026 3 min read Suggest a correction

Paris Baguette is taking over the former Zest Cafe space at 8831 Six Forks Road in the Six Forks Station shopping center in north Raleigh, with an opening planned for summer 2027, WRAL reported on October 2, 2026. The same reports said Fresko Greek Kitchen has closed at Brennan Station on Creedmoor Road and that the Crumbl at Six Forks Station has closed, though Crumbl’s own store page still lists that shop with hours.

Both shopping centers are in the city of Raleigh, west of Falls of Neuse Road. Six Forks Station sits at Six Forks Road and Strickland Road, with a listed address of 9517 Strickland Road, according to Kimco Realty, which owns the center. Brennan Station is on Creedmoor Road at Brennan Drive, with a listed address of 8111 Creedmoor Road, according to Kimco’s property page.

The changes reported on October 2 by WRAL and Triangle Food Blog:

  • Paris Baguette plans to open at 8831 Six Forks Road in Six Forks Station in summer 2027.
  • Fresko Greek Kitchen has closed its Brennan Station restaurant, and Hummus Republic will take the space.
  • Crumbl at Six Forks Station has closed, according to both outlets, a report the company’s store page does not reflect.

Paris Baguette plans a second Raleigh bakery

WRAL contributor Sean Lennard described Paris Baguette as “a fast-growing franchise specializing in French pastries, cakes, savory dishes and coffee.” The Six Forks Station store will be the chain’s second Raleigh location, according to WRAL. Triangle Food Blog credited the Triangle Business Journal with first reporting the lease.

Neither report named a franchise owner or gave an opening date more exact than summer 2027.

The first Raleigh store, Paris Baguette Raleigh, is on Moncreiffe Road in the 27617 ZIP code. Its details, according to the company’s website:

  • The address is 10341 Moncreiffe Road, Raleigh, NC 27617.
  • It is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the week.
  • The phone number is (984) 259-1299.
  • It offers dine-in seating, delivery and catering.

The company’s website describes the cafe’s menu as cakes, pastries and breads made by its own bakers, along with Lavazza coffee and iced lattes. It also runs a loyalty program called PB Rewards.

Crumbl’s Six Forks Station store: the reports and the store page disagree

Triangle Food Blog said reader Chuck Till shared that Crumbl at Six Forks Station had closed. WRAL reported the same closing and said the cookie chain still runs three other stores in the Triangle. Neither outlet gave a closing date or a reason.

Crumbl’s own page for the Six Forks Station store, at 8815 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615, still showed regular weekly hours on October 7, 2026. The top of the page read “CLOSED until 8 am Thursday.” It posted no notice of a permanent closing.

Six Forks Station has added at least one restaurant this fall. Arepa Culture, the Venezuelan restaurant that started as a food truck, held a grand opening on September 26, 2026, for its new storefront at 9320 Forum Drive in the center, next to Target. That move followed the closing of its first restaurant on Glenwood Avenue.

Fresko closes at Brennan Station, and Hummus Republic is next

The Fresko Greek Kitchen at Brennan Station on Creedmoor Road has closed and will be replaced by a Hummus Republic, WRAL and Triangle Food Blog reported. Triangle Food Blog said the news came from reader Chuck Till. Neither outlet gave an opening date for Hummus Republic.

Fresko’s location on Bale Street remains open, according to WRAL. Fresko Greek Kitchen lists that restaurant at 2320 Bale Street, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27608, on its online ordering page. The same page lists hours of 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. every day and the phone number (919) 322-0977.

The Bale Street menu is built around build-your-own bowls and pitas, according to the restaurant’s online menu. Sides and small plates include spanakopita, dolmades, falafel, Greek fries and avgolemono soup, and the dessert list has baklava and Greek donuts.
