Wake Forest Historical Museum

About
The Wake Forest Historical Museum keeps the history of the town and of Wake Forest College, on North Main Street. Permanent and rotating exhibits fill the main building, and the historic Dr. Calvin Jones House stands on the same grounds.
The land itself is part of the story. The Baptist Association opened the Wake Forest Manual Labor Institute here in 1834, and it was rechartered as Wake Forest College in 1840. The museum is run by the Wake Forest College Birthplace Society and hosts community events through the year.
