The Wake Forest Listening Room

About
The Wake Forest Listening Room is a live music series on Brooks Street in downtown Wake Forest, presenting original songwriters from the area, the region and around the country. Shows take place in the Magnolia Roots Music Lounge, downstairs from Sugar Magnolia Café.
The idea is a room where the music gets full attention, with no televisions showing sports and no conversation running over the songs. Audiences get the same quiet, and performers get a listening crowd. More than 300 performances happened here before the pandemic.
