Poole’s Garage & Tire Service is a family garage on Hodge Rd in Knightdale, south of Knightdale Blvd, that the Poole family has run for more than five decades. Charles M. Poole is president and Owen Poole vice president.
The shop sells passenger, performance, truck and SUV tires from Michelin, Firestone, Goodyear, Nexen, Falken, General and Maxxis. On the repair side it handles brakes, wheel alignment, front-end and suspension work, check-engine diagnostics, climate control and preventive maintenance, and it is one of the few older shops around that lists electric car repairs.
