Dos Taquitos has been on Glenwood Avenue since 1991, which makes it one of the longer-running Mexican restaurants in Raleigh. It calls itself the city’s dinner spot for family and friends, and plenty of regulars have been coming for decades.
Steak tacos and enchiladas de Puebla are the dishes it is known for. The appetizer list is worth lingering over, starting with guacamole made fresh each day from crushed avocados, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos and cilantro. Dinner is the main event here, and a table is easier to get if you plan ahead.
