Chapel Hill Tire, PNC Bank and Kiddie Academy are coming to Wallbrook

Hall of Fame Car Wash has finished construction at 643 S. Main St. in the Wallbrook development in Rolesville. The Town of Rolesville’s Wallbrook project page lists the wash, on Lot 8A, as “construction completed September 2026,” the only lot in the center with a completion date this month.

The company’s locations page lists the Rolesville wash at 643 South Main Street with hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, the same schedule as its washes in Leland and Jacksonville, N.C., and Blacksburg, Va. The phone number is listed as TBD, and the page gives no opening date. Hall of Fame Car Wash also sits under “What’s Coming to Rolesville” on the town’s downtown page, which lists it as a future business.

Three tenants the town had not listed before

The same project page now names three Wallbrook tenants that had not appeared on it before, each with a site plan number and a status:

• Kiddie Academy, a child care center, is planned for Lot 4 at 851 S. Main St.; site plan SDP-26-0001 was approved in June 2026, a pre-construction meeting was held July 31, 2026, and the construction start is listed as TBD.
• Chapel Hill Tire is planned for Lot 8B at 633 S. Main St., next to the car wash; site plan SDP-26-0006 has been under review since June 2026.
• PNC Bank is planned for Lot 9B at 810 S. Main St., on the east side of Main Street; site plan SDP-26-0003 has been under review since May 2026.

Chapel Hill Tire runs 13 shops in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh, Apex and Cary, and its locations page does not yet list Rolesville, according to the company’s website, which describes the business as family-owned for more than 70 years. A Rolesville shop would be its first outside those six towns and cities.

The page also lists a fourth new item without a tenant: retail buildings on Lot 5C at 705 S. Main St., with site plan SDP-26-0004 under review since May 2026. Lot 9A at 800 S. Main St., Lot 10 at 6 Virginia Water Drive and Lots 12 and 13 are listed as TBD.

Four projects under construction

Four other Wallbrook outparcels are under construction, according to the town’s page:

• Chipotle, on Lot 5B at 725 S. Main St., began construction in March 2026.
• Chase Bank, on Lot 5A at 735 S. Main St., also began construction in March 2026.
• Fifth Third Bank, on Lot 3 at 841 S. Main St., held a pre-construction meeting June 24, 2025, and is listed with a construction start in the second quarter of 2026; Core Sound Development’s January 15, 2025 leasing announcement put the bank on a 1,900-square-foot outparcel ground lease.
• 7-Eleven, on Lot 11 at 748 S. Main St., began construction in August 2025 under site plan SDP-23-04.

What is open at Wallbrook

Wallbrook is a 78-acre development by Crosland Southeast with more than 265,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space, 138 townhomes and a Publix at the south end of Main Street, according to the town’s downtown page. The project page dates the approvals: special use permit SUP 20-02 on March 2, 2021, annexation and rezoning on February 1, 2022, and the preliminary plat on June 7, 2022. Core Sound Development, a co-developer, said in the January 2025 announcement that the first phase was a 47,000-square-foot Publix, 30,000 square feet of shops and two outparcels, with 110,000 square feet of medical and professional office space and 140 townhomes in later phases. The project page lists the townhomes as 140 units built by Lennar in 2025 and 2026.

Publix opened at 821 S. Main St. on May 21, 2025, WRAL reported, and the store is 46,791 square feet with a drive-thru pharmacy, according to the company’s newsroom. Mayor Ronnie Currin cut the ribbon at the grand opening, the town said. The two multi-tenant buildings at 801 S. Main St. and the building at 831 S. Main St. were built in 2025, with tenant work continuing into 2026, per the project page.

The town’s downtown page lists nine businesses open at Wallbrook, with square footage from the January 2025 leasing announcement where it was given:

• Publix at 821 S. Main St. is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and can be reached at (919) 263-6027.
• Five Guys has 2,400 square feet at 811 S. Main St.
• Jersey Mike’s Subs has 1,320 square feet at 811 S. Main St., Suite 104, and is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
• Verizon, run by authorized retailer Victra, has 1,968 square feet at 811 S. Main St., Suite 105.
• Ideal Dental has 2,100 square feet at 811 S. Main St., Suite 102.
• Great Clips has 1,278 square feet at 801 S. Main St., Suite 102.
• Club Pilates has 1,750 square feet at 831 S. Main St., Suite 101.
• Acapella Nail Spa, listed by the town as Acapella Nail Bar, has 2,640 square feet at 831 S. Main St., Suite 102.
• JMA Pediatrics, the Jeffers, Mann & Artman practice, has 2,549 square feet at 831 S. Main St., Suite 103.

Next to Publix, The Pub Hub, a craft beer taproom that opened this summer, does not appear on the town’s open list. Two other tenants from the January 2025 announcement, El Jefe Modern Mexican at 3,155 square feet and Elements Massage at 1,752 square feet, are not on that list either. In the same announcement, Crosland Southeast partner Austin Williams said the developer was interviewing restaurant concepts for the two remaining endcap dining spaces at Wallbrook.
