The Pub Hub craft beer taproom opens at Wallbrook in Rolesville

The Pub Hub, a craft beer taproom with about 20 taps and no kitchen, is pouring at 811 S. Main St., Suite 106, in the Wallbrook shopping center next to Publix in Rolesville. WRAL reported on August 28, 2026, that the bar was in soft-open mode with a grand opening planned for Labor Day weekend, and the business’s website now posts a full weekly schedule with no “coming soon” language.

Owners Dan Colby and Liza David first described The Pub Hub concept to Business Debut on March 31, 2026, when the buildout was underway. The taproom does not brew. Its tagline, according to the company’s website, is “We don’t brew… We celebrate the ones that do.”

What is on tap and what the room looks like

The Pub Hub is a rotating lineup of North Carolina craft beer, with IPAs, sours, stouts and lagers from local breweries, and seasonal and flagship pours that change from visit to visit, according to the company’s website. Business Debut reported that the roughly 20 taps mix local craft beer with domestic options, and that the bar also serves wine and frozen drinks.

Colby told Business Debut, “Our goal is to bring all the local breweries under one roof.”

Business Debut described the space this way in March:

• The indoor room is about 2,000 square feet.
• A long bar seats about 20 people, with communal tables and window seating filling the rest of the room.
• The outdoor area has a fire pit and yard games.
• Decor draws on Rolesville history and uses reclaimed materials.
• Live music is planned, the room is meant to be family-friendly, and branded merchandise and brewery goods will be sold.

The company’s website describes the finished look as modern industrial with exposed brick, reclaimed wood and ambient lighting, plus a patio. The North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association’s March 10, 2026, activity report listed the space at 2,079 square feet with about $590,000 in renovations and named Daniel Colby as the owner.

Food comes from the neighbors

The Pub Hub has no kitchen and prepares no food. Business Debut reported in March that the owners planned partnerships with nearby restaurants so guests could order food and have it brought to the taproom, and WRAL wrote in August that patrons are encouraged to visit the food-related neighbors. Neither report named the restaurants.

The Town of Rolesville’s downtown page lists the businesses open at Wallbrook, and three of them sell food:

• Five Guys serves burgers and fries in the same center.
• Jersey Mike’s Subs makes sandwiches in the same center.
• Publix, the center’s grocery anchor, sits next door.

Hours and the timeline to opening

The taproom’s website lists these hours:

• Monday through Thursday, the bar is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday, it is open from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Saturday, it opens at noon and closes at 11 p.m.
• Sunday, it is open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The site lists no phone number or email address, and no closed days are posted. The opening came later than the owners first planned. The NCRLA report in March projected a May 1, 2026, opening. Business Debut reported on March 31 that the owners were targeting late spring to early summer, around July 4, pending inspections and approvals, with a 10-week buildout in progress. A Business Debut roundup on April 2 repeated the late-spring to early-summer target. WRAL’s August 28 item was the first report that the doors were open.

As of September 24, the Town of Rolesville’s downtown page still lists “Pub Hub Beer Garden” under coming soon.

Where it sits at Wallbrook

Wallbrook is at the southern end of Main Street in Rolesville. The town describes it as a 78-acre development with more than 265,000 square feet of retail space, 138 townhomes and a Publix grocery store. The town’s page lists Publix, Five Guys, Great Clips, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Verizon, JMA Pediatrics, Acapella Nail Bar, Club Pilates and Ideal Dental as open there.

The town’s coming-soon list for downtown, which covers Wallbrook and other Main Street sites, includes Chipotle, Chase Bank, Fifth Third Bank, 7-Eleven, Hall of Fame Car Wash and The Learning Experience, along with the restaurants Prima Cafe Co., Lime & Lemon Fusion Grill & Bar, Trattoria Franko, El Jefe Modern Mex and Sushi Nami. The page gives no opening dates for any of them.
