Blackbird Brewery is a family-owned and brewer-owned craft brewery. The brewery describes itself plainly: it is not a venture, an investment, or a pet project but the owners' life, and its beers are proudly brewed in Wake Forest. Blackbird's approach combines craft, chemistry, and community, inviting guests to visit the taproom and taste that philosophy in each sip. The brewery sells gift cards and shares its beer lineup online, and it operates alongside its sister cocktail lounge, Bird's Nest at Blackbird, in the same complex. Visitors must be 21 or older.
