Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve

Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve is a Town of Cary preserve at 2616 Kildaire Farm Road, protecting a stand of eastern hemlocks growing far south of their usual range on north-facing bluffs above Swift Creek.

Four trails run through it, the longest being the 1.2-mile Chestnut Oak Loop, and the Stevens Nature Center sits at the entrance. Entry outside posted hours is prohibited.
