Arepa Culture
About
Arepa Culture is a family-owned Venezuelan restaurant in the Six Forks Station shopping center in north Raleigh, next to Target. Pedro Rodriguez started it in 2014 as the Triangle’s original arepa food truck, and his son Marcel Jara now runs the business as chief executive.
The arepas are gluten-free white-cornmeal cakes made from scratch every day, grilled and stuffed with meats, vegetables and beans. The menu has vegetarian and vegan options. The Six Forks Station storefront held its grand opening on September 26, 2026, three months after the first restaurant on Glenwood Avenue closed.
