Duke Primary Care Heritage Pediatrics
About
Duke Primary Care Heritage Pediatrics is a Duke Health pediatric practice inside the Duke Health Heritage building on Rogers Road in Wake Forest. The building opened in September 2018, and pediatrics was among its first services.
The practice handles well-child visits, immunizations, and school and sports physicals, and runs hearing, vision, lead and developmental screenings in the clinic. Certified lactation consultants work from a private space, and the team evaluates children for ADHD, depression and anxiety. Duke says sick children can usually be seen the same day.
What to know
- Newborns are welcomed as new patients, per the Duke location page.
- Established patients reach triage nurses through the main line, option 2.
- Physicals must be scheduled ahead instead of booked as same-day visits.
- Appointments are made through My Duke Health, the Duke patient portal.
