Knightdale Station Park
About
Knightdale Station Park is the Town of Knightdale’s flagship park, a 71-acre green space on N. First Avenue in downtown Knightdale. Oak City Brewing sits next door, and the paved greenway connects to Mingo Creek Park.
Families come for the inclusive playground and the splash pad, and disc golfers come for the Gauntlet 9 course. The amphitheater hosts the town’s free festivals, while a central pond, a pollinator meadow and the Veterans Memorial give quieter visitors a place to walk. The design reflects the land’s years as a farm and nursery.
What to know

- The park opened on September 19, 2013.
- Wilder Plaza pavilions can be rented through the town’s parks department.
- At town festivals coolers are allowed, but tents, grills and alcohol are not.
