Best roofers in Wake Forest: 8 picks with records you can check

Wake Forest has plenty of roofers, but few of them publish anything a homeowner can check. Search for one and the first pages are mostly HomeAdvisor, Angi and lead-generation sites. Most local roofing companies run from home addresses, and many post no license number or warranty term at all.

So this list widened north to Youngsville, just up US 1, and took one pick from north Raleigh. Revive Contracting and VSV Roofing and Construction both carry general contractor license numbers on BBB. StormSafe Roofing & Exteriors in Youngsville lists four manufacturer and program credentials on its own site, more than any other pick.

Our read: get the warranty term in writing from any roofer you hire, since only two of these companies publish one.

How we chose

Roofers with a Wake Forest office or mailing address came first; the list then widened to Youngsville and north Raleigh because few local roofers publish checkable records. Each pick needed a 2026 signal, such as a dated review or license renewal. Facts come from each company's own site first, then BBB. License numbers are from BBB; we did not check them against the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors. No named, dated awards turned up.

Chains, franchises, firms too far away and two local roofers with no 2026 signal were cut. Entries are alphabetical, not ranked. None posts a price; everything was last checked in October 2026. The picks rest on checkable facts, and we have not hired them. The list stops at eight, where verified picks stop.

ABJ Roofing Inc.

Family-owned and working from a Wake Forest mailing address in northern Wake County, ABJ Roofing handles roof repairs, full replacements and new-construction roofs, along with gutters, fascia repair and roof tune-ups. Its own site says CertainTeed has certified the company as a ShingleMaster, a credential from the shingle manufacturer. Service-area pages cover Wake Forest, Youngsville and Franklinton, and roof estimates are free. Of the eight picks, it has the longest track record.

Why we chose them

  • BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited since February 4, 2016.
  • Its own site says "Family-owned since 1993," while BBB records a 1998 start, so the founding year is unsettled.
  • No NC general contractor license number appears on its own site or its BBB profile.
  • The site publishes no warranty terms, so get the workmanship warranty in writing.
  • No dated 2026 post from the company itself turned up, so call or request the free estimate first.

Address: Wake Forest — serves the area

ARC Roofing & Construction

On Capital Boulevard (US 1) in Youngsville, just north of Wake Forest, this family-owned contractor repairs and replaces roofs, installs metal roofing and handles gutters, downspouts and siding. Its own site shows an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor badge and says the company is fully insured. ARC is one of only two picks with a business address on record; most of the others work from home bases or mailing addresses.

Why we chose them

  • BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited since December 18, 2025.
  • Its own site states a service area of Raleigh and the surrounding RDU area; Wake Forest is not named.
  • No NC general contractor license number appears on its own site or its BBB profile.
  • The site promises "Warranty-backed construction" but gives no terms, so get them in writing.
  • No dated 2026 post from the company itself turned up, so call before booking an inspection.

Address: Youngsville — 14101 Capital Blvd.

Compass Roofing and Exteriors

The youngest company on the list, this Youngsville roofer opened in 2025 and works a territory that runs from Wake Forest and Rolesville up to Henderson and Oxford. Residential jobs cover asphalt shingle and metal roofs; on commercial buildings it installs TPO and modified bitumen. Its own site promises free estimates and same-day emergency response, and it calls the company locally owned.

Why we chose them

  • BBB lists NC general contractor license L.107175, expiring December 31, 2026.
  • BBB has listed the company as accredited since July 16, 2026.
  • Its BBB profile shows an A rating, though one BBB category page shows A-.
  • The site includes a workmanship warranty but names no term, so ask for it in writing.
  • Its own site claims "Manufacturer-certified installers" without naming the manufacturer.

Address: Youngsville — serves the area

MSE Contracting

Roofing comes first on this Wake Forest contractor's service list, ahead of siding, gutters and painting. MSE Contracting gives free inspections and advice, its crew speaks Spanish, and its own site says it is insured through North Carolina Farm Bureau. The company calls itself North Carolina native-owned and describes a far wider range than most picks here: everything east of Charlotte and Statesville out to the coast.

Why we chose them

  • BBB rates it A+ and accredited it on February 12, 2026.
  • No NC general contractor license number appears on its own site or its BBB profile.
  • No manufacturer certification or warranty term is published on its site.
  • BBB lists a residential address, so this is a home-based, service-area business.
  • Its site names no specific towns it serves, so confirm it covers your part of Wake Forest.

Address: Wake Forest — serves the area

Quality North Raleigh

A sole proprietorship in northeast Raleigh, about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Wake Forest, Quality North Raleigh replaces asphalt roofs, repairs leaks and cleans roofs, according to its BBB categories. Gutters and gutter guards, siding and exterior painting make up the rest of the work. It has no company website; a Facebook page linked from BBB is its main public presence.

Why we chose them

  • BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited since June 25, 2026.
  • In business since June 17, 2015, per BBB, which makes 11 years.
  • No NC general contractor license number or manufacturer certification appears on its BBB profile.
  • BBB lists a residential address, so this is a home-based, service-area business.
  • No published service area names Wake Forest, so confirm coverage by phone before booking.

Address: Raleigh — serves the area

Revive Contracting, LLC

Roof replacement and storm-damage insurance claims lead the list at Revive Contracting, a Wake Forest company that also installs James Hardie and vinyl siding, gutters and gutter guards, and does crawlspace encapsulation. It sells a "Revive360" exterior inspection and arranges financing. The service area runs from Wake Forest and Rolesville to Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Clayton and Chapel Hill.

Why we chose them

  • Its own site promises a "Lifetime Workmanship Warranty & Clean-Up Guarantee" on roof replacements.
  • BBB has listed it as accredited since July 3, 2024.
  • Its BBB profile shows an A rating, while one BBB category page shows A+.
  • The mailing address is on a rural road, and it may sit outside Wake Forest town limits.

Address: Wake Forest — serves the area

StormSafe Roofing & Exteriors

Four credentials sit on this Youngsville roofer's website: CertainTeed Master Craftsman, Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, James Hardie Alliance Preferred Contractor and FORTIFIED Roofing contractor. No other pick lists as many. The crew handles residential roofs, siding and gutters, storm-damage insurance claims and emergency tarping, plus EPDM and TPO on commercial buildings. Wake Forest is among the towns its service area names.

Why we chose them

  • Qualifying installations carry a "10-Year Workmanship Warranty," per its own site.
  • BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited since July 31, 2025.
  • BBB records a December 21, 2023 start, but the site footer begins at 2013, so the founding year is unsettled.
  • BBB lists a residential address, so this is a home-based, service-area business.
  • No NC general contractor license number appears on its own site or its BBB profile.

Address: Youngsville — serves the area

VSV Roofing and Construction

A commercial suite on the South Main Street corridor is the base for VSV Roofing and Construction, a Wake Forest contractor that handles roofs along with gutters, soffit and fascia. The same company paints interiors and exteriors and replaces windows and doors, so one crew can cover a roof and the trim around it. BBB names Jose Fuentes as owner and Santos Fuentes as president.

  • BBB records a business start date of May 1, 2008, the second longest run on this list.
  • BBB rates it A+, though the company is not BBB accredited.
