Best painters in Wake Forest: 7 picks with checkable facts

Few painters keep a storefront inside Wake Forest town limits. Most of the local trade is owner-operated crews working from a home office, a Wake Forest mailing address out in unincorporated Wake County, or no website at all. BBB category pages for Wake Forest, Youngsville and Rolesville turned out to be the best place to start, since they list start dates and owners.

The list widened to north Raleigh offices on Six Forks Road, Rowland Road and Falls of Neuse Road, and to Youngsville, but only for companies that name Wake Forest in their own service areas. Dixie Paint, with a BBB start date of 1982, and Tru-Line Painting & Pressure Washing are the two independents based just outside town. CertaPro Painters of North Raleigh is the one company here that publishes a general contractor license number.

Our read: get warranty terms in writing, because only three of these seven publish a warranty length at all.

How we chose

We started with painters based in and around Wake Forest, then added north Raleigh and Youngsville for companies that name Wake Forest in their own service areas. Each pick needed a 2026 signal from its own site: a dated post, a dated review or a page update. Facts came from each business's own site first, then BBB. Only CertaPro Painters of North Raleigh states a general contractor license, and we did not check that number with the state board.

We cut franchises beyond two, painters with no website or 2026 signal, and firms based too far out. These picks rest on checkable facts; we have not hired them. Entries are alphabetical, not ranked, prices were last checked in November 2026, and the list stops where verified picks stop.

360° Painting of Durham-Wake Forest

This Wake Forest operation works as a service-area business with no storefront, and its menu runs well past walls and trim. Inside, crews paint cabinets and kitchens, strip wallpaper, repair drywall and scrape popcorn ceilings. Outside, they paint houses and fences, stain decks and concrete, power wash and lay epoxy floors. Its site names Sherwin-Williams, PPG Paints and Benjamin Moore among the paints it uses, and estimates are free with no obligation, per the company.

Why we chose them

  • It is a franchise of the 360° Painting brand, owned locally by Lisa and Tony Kline per its Meet the Team page.
  • Its site states a 2-year paint warranty and a 6-month carpentry warranty, depending on the job's scope.
  • The Book Now link opens a booking system labeled for the Apex, Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill location, so phone the local number.
  • No dated 2026 post from the company itself turned up beyond a 2026 copyright footer, so call before booking.

All-Pro Painting

Chad Fitzpatrick's company works out of a Six Forks Road office in north Raleigh and puts Wake Forest, Rolesville and Knightdale on its list of areas served. Residential interiors and exteriors make up most of the work, with commercial painting and pressure washing beside them. The in-house carpentry crew sets it apart: rotted siding and trim get replaced by the same company that paints them, so a house does not need a separate carpenter first.

Why we chose them

  • BBB rates it A+ and has listed it as accredited since November 14, 2019.
  • BBB gives a business start date of February 18, 1999, the same year its own description cites.
  • BBB also lists a Wake Forest branch on South White Street, but the company's own site shows only the Raleigh office.
  • Its site promises free estimates and pricing it calls "clear and upfront."
  • The newest blog post dates to January 2025 and only the footer says 2026, so call before booking.

CertaPro Painters of North Raleigh

This north Raleigh franchise works from Falls of Neuse Road, and its Wake Forest page covers the 27587 and 27588 ZIP codes. The service list is long: interior and exterior house painting, cabinet refinishing and repainting, staining, drywall repair, power washing, and wallpaper removal and installation. A free estimate ends with a written proposal at the appointment. The company says it is "EPA Lead Certified" and will hand over copies of its liability and workers' compensation insurance.

Why we chose them

  • It is a franchise of CertaPro Painters, owned locally by Kirt and Sheri Storch per its home page.
  • Its Wake Forest page lists commercial general contractor License Number 81527, which has not been checked against state board records.
  • BBB rates it A+ and lists it as accredited on its Wake Forest residential painter category page.
