Best dentists in Wake Forest: 10 general practices
Wake Forest has no shortage of general dentists. The ADA Find-a-Dentist page for the town and one broad search turned up more than a dozen general practices on South Main Street, Rogers Road, Gateway Commons, Capital Boulevard and Heritage. Several belong to North Carolina groups with offices across the Triangle, and Rogers Road alone has three of the picks.
Nine of the 10 picks sit in Wake Forest; the list widens once, to Dental Care of Rolesville on South Main Street in Rolesville. Wells Family Dental Group's Gateway Commons office and Village Dental on Capital Boulevard both post new-patient prices, and Upton and Baker DDS downtown has had Dr. Kevin Upton since 1984.
Our read: the posted prices and membership plans are the fastest way to compare these offices before calling.
How we chose
Practices inside Wake Forest came first; Rolesville, the only other town, added one general office. Each pick needed a 2026 signal on its own site (a dated award or notice, a 2026 page update, or a 2026 copyright with a working booking form), and facts come from those sites first. Awards count only when named and dated. Degrees come from the practice sites; we did not run the state dental board's license lookups.
We cut practices that appear to belong to a group without saying so on their own sites, one with no 2026 signal, and specialist offices. Entries are alphabetical, not ranked, and prices were last checked in October 2026. The picks rest on checkable facts, and we have not hired any of them.
