Whisk & Batter Bakery is a cupcake shop on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, one of two stores along with a location in Durham. The counter is stocked with cupcakes first, but the bakery makes cakes as well.
The shop is happy to claim the best cupcakes in the Triangle, and it backs the claim up with a lineup wide enough that choosing a single flavor is the hard part. It works for a single afternoon treat, and it works for a table that needs a cake in the middle of it.
