Wake Tech Foundation
About
The Wake Tech Foundation cultivates and manages the money and resources that Wake Tech Community College depends on, working from the college’s Fayetteville Road campus in south Raleigh. Its aim is to keep education within reach for anyone in the community who wants it.
The reasoning is practical as much as charitable: the region stays a good place to live and work when people can train for the jobs it has. Gifts go toward scholarships, faculty and staff support, and programs across the college, and students say that help removes a real barrier.
What to know
- The foundation is a registered 501(c)(3), so donations are tax-deductible.
- Its endowment holds 124 individual funds worth about $18.9 million.
- All of each gift goes to support the college’s students and programs.
- The college it supports enrolls more than 72,000 students.
- An annual impact report shows donors where their support went.
