Wake Forest Dairy Depot is an independent, locally owned ice cream shop on Rogers Road in Wake Forest. Soft-serve cones, milkshakes, sundaes and parfaits make up most of the board, and the house specialty is the Train Wreck, soft serve loaded with novelties, candies and fruit.
Seasonal specials rotate through the summer, so there is usually something on the board that was not there last month. A patio out front is there for eating on the spot, and a drive-thru handles orders headed home. Both work fine on a hot afternoon.
