Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space
About
Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space is the county division behind the parks, trails and greenways spread across Wake County, with offices on South Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh. Its work is to preserve open space and encourage people to look after it.
The division also runs education and outdoor recreation programs, and it aims to keep them reachable for everyone in a growing community. If you want a short walk near home or a full day outdoors, this is the office behind most of the public options.
