Viridien

Viridien Patio + Fireplace is an outdoor living store on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, selling fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and patio furniture. It serves customers across both North and South Carolina.

The furniture side covers outdoor dining sets, lounge seating and POLYWOOD collections, with the accessories to match. The pitch is luxury outdoor furniture at a price that does not feel like one. Staff are design consultants who have been at this a long time, so a visit tends to turn into a conversation about the whole space instead of a single purchase.

What to know

• The company runs four showrooms that customers can walk through.
• Outdoor throw pillows and rugs are stocked alongside the furniture.
• Those accessories are manufactured to standards meant for outdoor durability.
• The store presents a fireplace as a focal point that brings warmth and style to a home.
