Vic’s Ristorante Italiano & Pizzeria is a family-run Italian restaurant and pizzeria in City Market, in the Moore Square district of downtown Raleigh. It is the original of the Longo family’s Vic’s locations, with Mario Longo Sr. and his wife Lucia at the center of the business.
The kitchen makes its pizza doughs and sauces from scratch and cooks pasta to order, with penne alla vodka, shrimp fra diavolo, eggplant parm, mussels and New York-style pizza on the menu. Lucia Longo’s tiramisu and limoncello cake finish the meal. The restaurant runs monthly wine dinners and a weekly half-price night on house bottles.
