Unhinged Coffee & Co.
About
Unhinged Coffee & Co. is Knightdale’s community coffee shop, on North First Avenue downtown. The espresso drinks are handcrafted and the syrups are made in house, under a motto that reads Sip Through The Struggle and a standing welcome: you belong here.
The calendar is as much of a draw as the coffee. A run club, a bike ride that ends at the coffee bar, trivia, children’s storytime, fiber arts night and book clubs all meet here, and wine tastings pour bottles you will not find on the regular menu.
What to know
- Coffee carts and the Unhinged Trailer take the shop’s drinks to festivals and weddings.
- Corporate events and private parties can also book the mobile setup.
- A farm stand from James Family Farm brings seasonal produce and eggs to the shop.
- The Bar Ber Shop gives haircuts here on the first Saturday of each month.
- Children’s storytime features the shop’s own mascot.
