Triangle Rock Club’s first gym is in Morrisville, off Aviation Parkway near the I-40 interchange on the north side of town. It opened in December 2007 and grew into a regional chain with gyms in Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville and Richmond, Virginia.
Inside is a 27,000-square-foot climbing floor with 55-foot walls and 100 lanes for rope climbing, plus bouldering, a cardio and weight area, and yoga and fitness classes. The gym also runs summer and track-out camps, lessons and youth programs, and has a small gift shop.
What to know
- An adult day pass costs $15 for ages 12 and up, with gear rental included.
- Youth passes for ages 11 and under are $10 and include a harness only.
- It won the Morrisville Chamber’s James M. Pugh Small Business Award in February 2013.
- Parking in the lot is free.
