Tile Liquidators of Raleigh

Tile Liquidators is a flooring store on Nottingham Drive in Cary, locally owned and stocked with tile, stone, luxury vinyl plank, and hardwood. Staff in the showroom help match a floor to the room and the budget.

The company lays out a six-week path from first idea to finished floors, which helps if you are working backward from a move-in date. It starts with gathering inspiration, and the showroom visit comes after that, once you know roughly what you want and what you want to spend.

What to know

• Setting a realistic budget range is the advised first step.
• Bringing room measurements to the showroom makes that visit more useful.
• The company warns against picking a floor only for how it photographs.
• There is more than one showroom to visit.
