The Record Krate – Wake Forest

The Record Krate is an independent record shop on South White Street in downtown Wake Forest. The Raleigh store has closed and its stock moved here, so this is now the whole operation. It draws collectors and casual buyers from across north Wake County.

New vinyl arrives regularly, including the colored indie-exclusive pressings that only independent shops get, and there are catalog titles and used bins to dig through. Reissues get flagged as they land, which is how a lot of regulars hear about them first.
