The Original NY Pizza
About
The Original NY Pizza has been making New York-style pies in Cary since 1991, and the recipe has not moved much: Wisconsin cheese, Italian tomatoes, and dough rolled by hand in the shop every day. The Tryon Road store is one of two the company runs.
Beyond the round pies there are specialty pizzas, Sicilian squares, calzones, strombolis, and the Panetto, which the shop invented. It has been voted best pizza in Western Wake by both the Maggy Awards and Cary Magazine, and more than once.
