The Oak

The Oak is a restaurant and bourbon bar on Lake Boone Trail in west Raleigh. Everything comes out of a scratch kitchen, and the bourbon list gets as much thought as the food does. It is a comfortable place for a celebration or a long conversation.

The room is quiet enough to hear the person across the table. Service is friendly and professional, by the accounts of people who have eaten there, and larger parties get the same attention as a table for two. It is a good place for a milestone dinner.
