Juliet Books is an independent bookstore on South Dixon Avenue in downtown Cary. Marcie Montague founded it to give the neighborhood a different kind of place, one built around books, community, and local creativity. The company name is The Juliet Montague Company, though the shop goes by Juliet Books.
It is a shop for browsing. The aim, as the store puts it, is discovery: shelves you can wander along without a title in mind, in a space small enough to feel like someone’s own. If you have half an hour downtown, it is an easy place to fill it.
