The Hideaway is a family-run bottle shop and taproom on East Roosevelt Avenue in downtown Wake Forest, permitted by the town in the summer of 2026. Eighteen taps rotate, and the coolers hold a few hundred craft beers alongside a long wine selection.
Anything on the shelf can be drunk at the bar or carried out, which is the useful part. The patio is where most people end up, the lounge inside is warm and low-key, and the whole place is arranged for staying a while.

- Dogs are welcome, and most owners bring them onto the patio.
- Live music plays every Saturday evening.
- Karaoke joined the lineup in September.
