The Halal Guys is on Boulderstone Way in Cary, and the menu is built on three things: chicken platters, gyro platters, and falafel platters. The company calls this American halal food, and it has been making it the same way since 1990.
That start was a single cart in New York City, opened by three Egyptian founders who ran it around the clock. The lines stretched down the block. Thirty years on, the company still describes its approach as treating each customer with appreciation, honor, and respect.
