The Daily Planet Cafe is the cafe inside the NC Museum of Natural Sciences on West Jones Street, in the government quarter of downtown Raleigh. It covers breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, and everything on offer is prepared fresh in house by its own team of chefs.
The menu runs from entrees and sandwiches to small plates, seasonal salads and pastries straight out of the oven. It makes an easy stop while you are working your way through the exhibits, and a decent lunch option if you happen to work in the neighborhood.
