The Crawlspace Press
About
The Crawlspace Press is a screen printing shop on West South Street in Raleigh, making concert posters and taking on graphic design work. Every print is pulled by hand, one color at a time, which is slower and better than the alternative.
The client list runs from David Byrne to Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit and Lainey Wilson, with plenty of North Carolina bands in between. These are posters made to be framed and hung, and each run is treated as its own small edition.
What to know
- Posters are usually printed at 18 by 24 inches, with some at 12 by 18.
- Most prints use three colors, and a few use four.
- North Carolina acts on the roster include Chatham County Line and Durham’s Schooner.
- A print was made for Guided By Voices at Irving Plaza in New York in 2024.
