South Line Brewing Cary
About
South Line Brewing is a brewery and beer garden on Old Apex Road in Cary, opened in 2022 by people with long histories in Triangle food and beer. Dogs and kids are both welcome, which tells you most of what the place is like.
The beer is brewed on site, and the bar also pours wine and liquor. Food trucks park outside on a posted schedule, and outside food is welcome if the truck that night is not what you wanted. The brewery leans on quality ingredients and flavors you will not find everywhere.
What to know
- One owner, Mike, ran a food truck starting in 2011 and later opened two barbecue restaurants.
- Co-owner Conrad also operates Ruckus Pizza, Pasta and Spirits in Apex.
- Scott, who came from Raleigh Brewing Company, oversaw production there for seven years.
- Scott grew up in Cary after his family moved there in 1986.
