Sous Terre

Sous Terre is a private cocktail club underneath Jolie and Crawford & Son on North Person Street, in Raleigh’s Oakwood neighborhood. It comes from chef Scott Crawford, and the room is small and finished like a chic jewel box.

Beverage director Jordan Joseph runs the bar. The list covers classics made properly, rare spirits worth trying on their own, and newer drinks that come out of the team’s own work. It is a place for drinking slowly and paying attention to what is in the glass.
