Sokal is an advertising agency in north Raleigh that works mainly with car dealerships. Paid search, SEO, programmatic display, and digital video are all handled in-house by its own digital team rather than farmed out.
Mark Sokal founded the company in 2003 after two decades in the automotive business in New Jersey, and it has grown to more than 145 employees and over 350 clients nationwide. The work includes custom websites and banner campaigns built for a particular dealership. Experience is the agency’s own selling point, and it has twenty years of it.

- Mark Sokal bought the rights to the North Carolina office in 2010, forming Sokal Media Group.
- A separate digital agency called Webstreak was created in 2014.
