Shabashabu

Shabashabu has been on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh since 2002, and it does three things at once: Thai food, shabu shabu and sushi. Diners have voted its Thai food the best in the Triangle.

Thai dishes make up most of the menu, and the hot pot and the sushi give the place a wider range than a standard Thai kitchen. One customer called it a great place for a sophisticated date. More than twenty years on, it is still turning out the same three things.
