SAS Championship by Octagon
About
The SAS Championship is a PGA TOUR Champions tournament played each year at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. The 2026 edition runs October 12 through 18, with a week of golf and community events around the competition itself.
The field is made up of players most fans watched on the regular tour years ago. Prestonwood’s fairways have carried a lot of famous names by now, and the tournament has been part of Cary’s fall calendar for 25 years. That is a long run for any event.
