Saint Augustine’s University Historic Chapel
About
The Historic Chapel sits on the campus of Saint Augustine’s University on Oakwood Avenue in Raleigh. It keeps the old church tradition of red doors, which has long signaled that visitors are welcome to come inside and that the building is open to the wider community.
The chapel aims to be a safe and welcoming worship community for students and for the neighborhood around the campus. It hosts speakers as well as services, including a Worship and Wonder series that brings in seminary faculty and visiting pastors.
