Rey’s Restaurant
About
Rey’s Restaurant is a fine dining steakhouse on Buck Jones Road in west Raleigh, done in a New Orleans French Quarter style. Steaks, prime rib, and chops anchor the menu, and the room is set up for a longer dinner than a weeknight stop.
The menu is continental, with signature dishes drawn from the French Quarter, and there is enough range on it that a table with different tastes can all order well. Rey Arias owns the restaurant, and reservations are taken.
What to know
- The beef served is corn-fed prime.
- The kitchen makes its own desserts on site.
- The bar attached to the restaurant is called the Voodoo Lounge.
- Voodoo comes from the Fon word Voudon, meaning the power, or the creator of all things.
