Randleigh Dairy Heritage Museum
About
The Randleigh Dairy Heritage Museum is part of NC State’s Howling Cow program, on Dairy Lane in Raleigh. It is an interactive museum about how a typical North Carolina dairy operates, and it works for children and adults alike.
A visit covers how the cows are raised, how they produce milk, and how that milk becomes products like Howling Cow ice cream. It is agritourism in the plainest sense, following milk from the farm to the table, and the displays are hands-on for anyone who wants to try them.
