Raleigh Rose Garden

About

The Raleigh Rose Garden sits on Pogue Street beside Raleigh Little Theatre and is open to the public. It was dedicated in 1951 as the finishing touch to the theater’s WPA landmark campus, and the city’s parks and recreation department lists it as a unique venue.

There are sixty rose beds here, planted with hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, miniatures, and antique roses, with an arboretum of evergreen and deciduous trees around them. Roses, trees, and perennials give the grounds a display that carries through the whole year.
