First Baptist Church is on South Wilmington Street in downtown Raleigh, and it has been part of the city since 1812. That comes to more than two hundred years of what the church calls bringing the Good News to the community.
The welcome is extended to anyone, wherever they happen to be on their own journey. The congregation says it would count it an honor to have visitors join them, and it has clearly put some thought into making a first visit easier on anyone walking in cold.
