Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority

The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority runs RDU International Airport, the airport serving Raleigh, Durham, and the rest of the Triangle. Its website handles the practical side of a trip, including flight status, parking availability, and parking booked ahead so a space is waiting.

There are places to eat and shop in both terminals, and the terminals themselves have been built out with travelers in mind. The authority is also working through long-range improvement programs called Transform RDU and Reimagine RDU, which cover upgrades to the airport’s facilities.

What to know

• Free WiFi covers both terminals on a network named RDU Free WiFi.
• Select seats throughout the terminals have power outlets built in.
• Seating clusters in boarding areas include 110 volt and USB outlets under the tabletops.
• Smarte Carte carts can be rented in baggage claim, at the curbs, and in the garage atrium.
• Travelers are invited to give feedback on passenger services and amenities.
