Possibilities

Possibilities has been part of Saltbox Village on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary for 38 years, which is a long run for a small shop. It sells clothing and accessories, sourced from designers around the world and from artists just around the corner.

The style here is easy to describe: artsy, colorful, comfortable, stylish and fun. Because the buying is done that way, the racks change as pieces come and go. What you find on one visit may not be there the next time you come in.

What to know

• Many pieces are one of a kind, and others are bought in small quantities.
• The shop does not sell its stock online.
• Items often sell before the staff can photograph and list them.
• A sample of the styles and brands carried is shown online.
