About
Oak City Brewing Company is a neighborhood brewery in historic downtown Knightdale, with its taphouse in a 1920s bungalow that looks out over Knightdale Station Park. The owners describe it plainly: a place for friends and neighbors to hang out and grab a cold draft beer.
The founders quit their jobs in the spring of 2015, both with newborns on the way, and turned the idea into a working brewery. The park across the way and the old house it sits in give the taproom an easy, unhurried feel.
