O-Ku Raleigh
About
O-Ku is a contemporary Japanese restaurant on West Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh, built around a sushi bar. The menu reaches past sushi into small plates, so a table can graze through a few things at once.
The concept has continued to evolve since it started, and the kitchen keeps pushing at what a sushi restaurant can do. Dinner is served every night of the week, which makes it an easy choice on a weeknight downtown.
What to know
- O-Ku was established in 2010 by founder Steve Palmer of The Indigo Road.
- Dumplings and robata skewers are among the small plates.
- Vegetarian and gluten-free options appear on the menu.
