New City Design Group
About
New City Design Group is an independent architecture firm working from the Hillsborough Street corridor in west Raleigh. It is an award-winning practice, and the work pairs technical architectural knowledge with a willingness to try ideas that have not been tried on a given site.
The group is small and led by its own principals, so clients generally deal directly with the architects doing the design. The firm describes what it aims for as spaces that hold up over time and change how a place gets used.
What to know
- Ted Van Dyk, AIA, and Corey Bates, AIA, LEED AP, are the firm’s principals.
- Shannon Laska works with the practice as an associate.
- Wayne Sidle, AIA, is a project architect on the team.
- Bios for individual team members are posted for clients who want to know who they will work with.
