NeighborUp
About
NeighborUp is a nonprofit on High House Road in Cary that helps neighbors going through a hard stretch. Its work covers financial and food assistance, workforce development and connections to other community resources, with practical support and a path toward stability as the goal.
The organization runs the Dorcas Thrift Shop, which it calls one of North Carolina’s premier thrifting destinations, and shopping there supports the assistance programs. The short version of its purpose is help for today and hope for tomorrow, and both halves of that show up in the daily work.
